Replace each with the equivalent in every file. Do a search for every instance of You'll see a commented out portion that follows each one that says something along the lines of "Online Mac" with an You have some copying and pasting to do. In "Config", go into the "XUi" folder, and open the three. If in doubt, just drag the contents of each folder "Config", "Prefabs" into their respective folders inside the 7DaysToDie.app package, overwriting as necessary.

So the Mods folder will be in the same directory as 7DaysToDie.app. From the Valmod download, drag the "Mods" folder into this folder. This should drop you in ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/7 Days to Die/. Keep in mind, I'm running 15.1, since I haven't felt like redoing this after an otherwise minor update (in my mind, since I mostly play SP). Here's what I did for the Overhaul version. Glad you had a similar experience with him. He's a great addition to the game, one of the things I love about Valmod. I had one of those moments of "hey did something move over there" that quickly turned into "OH GOD NO GOD WHY!" One time I was chopping wood at night, over confident because we had turned off running zombies at night ( for a change of pace). I've run into Jason a few more times on different maps (we like to start new worlds a lot), and he almost always manages to catch me off guard. Fortunately the sun was up by this point, and I managed to kill Jason around the time my friend got back to his corpse. I got to my corpse and retrieved my gear, right around the time Jason killed my friend. Got back to find my friend kiting Jason around, but he was out of ammo. I think I grabbed some water on the way out, but I was buck-ass nekkid. When I respawned, I grabbed a pistol and a spiked club from the small stash of backup weapons we usually keep at the base, and ran out to retrieve my stuff. My buddy got there just in time to see me die. I was already hurt, bleeding, and tripped up on a damn cactus, and Jason caught up to me and killed me. I just started shouting "watch out, man there's some crazy Jason looking motherfucker over here and he's FAST!" I had gotten ahead of my buddy, so he didn't see this happen.
I literally screamed when it turned around and hit me back. So I did what comes natural to any gamer. I thought he was some kind of scarecrow or something. We were getting close to home, and it was almost dawn, so the tension was easing up a bit. We were on our way back to base, but taking an unfamiliar route. The first time I ran into this guy, my buddy and I were already a bit stressed out after some harrowing experiences out hunting at night.

Fun Pimps need to hire this dude because he clearly knows how to put some fun and intense things in to mix up the game. Now i'm shitting myself because what the hell else is there that I don't know about? My first base was fucked over by the 7 day horde, there are crazed people running about, there are fucked up running zombies. Scared shitless now, because I had no idea there was anything like this in the mod. I kill them and see its a crazed slasher. Proceeding to where I died, I go into the building and find my bag but the killer is there! There were two people with fucked up masks on. The body disappears before I can look at it.
After dying and retracing my steps, I came across the person again and manage to kill it with a shitload of bullets. It ended up killing me because I was so startled. Holy shit, it looks kinda like Chewbacca, what? Finally, it comes up the ladder and begins to attack me with a machete.
It was too far off to really tell, so I took a shot at it and it starts running towards me and the building i'm on. I checked to make sure I was playing a single player game. Even got my girlfriend to confirm what I was seeing. I use my rifle to scope out the area and spot what I thought was a zombie holding something in the distance. I was looting the buildings just west of the Crack-a-Book in the forest and i'm on top of a building as I notice a small horde of zombies walking past. Playing Valmod for the first time in a single player game on the Navezgane map.
